Meet Jason Camp

Jason Camp has been part of the Golden Life Assisted Living family for eight years. What he enjoys most about his work is seeing residents happy and watching them accomplish the goals they’ve set for themselves. For Jason, those moments of progress and happiness are what make his work so rewarding.

Born in Belding, Michigan, Jason spent most of his life growing up in Greenville. When he was 10 years old, he dreamed of becoming a police officer, but his path eventually led him to a career helping others in a different way. After graduating from high school and attending college for two years, Jason found his place at Golden Life, where he has spent the past eight years supporting residents and celebrating their successes.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys hunting and fishing, but some of the most important parts of his life are the people he comes home to. His family includes his wife, Ruth, his son, Sampson, his daughter, Aimee, and their dog, Lu Lu. Jason considers marrying his wife and having his two wonderful children among the happiest moments of his life.

Jason believes that the things worth having in life come through hard work. His advice to someone younger is simple: “You get what you work for in life; nothing is going to be handed to you.” It’s a mindset that reflects Jason’s appreciation for setting goals, putting in the effort, and celebrating accomplishments—both in his own life and in the lives of the residents he supports at Golden Life.
