Meet Morghan Clewley

Morghan Clewley joined the Golden Life AL family in March 2026, bringing valuable caregiving and leadership experience with her. Before coming to Golden Life, she worked at American House of Spring Lake, where she served as a Wellness Manager and led a secured dementia care unit. Morghan is also a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). What she loves most about her work is spending time with residents and having the opportunity to help people with the things they may no longer be able to do on their own.

Born in Muskegon, Michigan, Morghan grew up in Ravenna and Howard City. Athletics were a big part of her younger years, and she earned All-State honors as both a softball pitcher and a bowler. In fact, her softball nickname, “Morgue,” inspired an unusual childhood dream—when she was 10, she wanted to work in a morgue! While life ultimately led her in a very different direction, her drive and dedication have stayed with her.

Outside of work, Morghan loves hunting, fishing, doing nails, and spending time with her family. She shares her life with her boyfriend, Hunter, their son, Dutton, their basset hound, Ruger, and their cat, Sparkplug. Two of her happiest moments were becoming a mother and purchasing her first home with Hunter, where they could build a life and raise their son together.

If Morghan could offer one piece of advice to someone younger, it would be to treat their parents better and remember that it’s their first time living, too—they’re still learning along the way. That sense of understanding and compassion carries into Morghan’s work at Golden Life, where she finds purpose in helping residents, building relationships, and making each day a little easier for the people in her care.
